	Security Patrol Body Armour


	The Security Patrol has been designed to provide the Officer with an attractive body armour garment to complement the uniform. The Item is made in hard wearing poly cotton fabric and supplied with epaulettes, radio loops, reflective shoulder strips, internal body belt, two large utility pockets and four adjustable belt loops. Adjustments can be made to side & shoulders to enable the officer to accommodate a wide variety of clothing. The Security Patrol is equally suited to wearers who make routine use of utility belts. The garment is not a front opener, in line with modern police trends. However, since it is sometimes necessary to have ventilation if seated in warm cars etc, the double zip facility allows the front protective panel to be flipped out for this purpose. It can be reassembled faster than conventional zip front styles, is safer, and the extended zip allows manipulation whist wearing gloves.

	This body armour style is also our most requested style for modifications. We often “tweak” this armour style to customer requirements. The standard issue “Security Patrol” Drawing is shown at the bottom of this page.

	This overt body armour jacket is made to order in 32 standard sizes - XX Small to XXX Large in four different “body lengths”. We select the size based on the measurements you provide on our body armour order form. Standard sizes are also available for situations where the body armour might be used by multiple users.

Side protection is standard on the Security Patrol body armour style.

Areal Weight is the mass of one square metre of the armour system. This figure is used to compare weights from different suppliers and eliminates the need to refer to body armour sizes
